Over 30 years of experience in global energy management and sustainability consulting, Jan has pioneered the development and implementation of scalable, cohesive energy strategies bridging and optimizing both the traditional electrical grid with rapidly growing distributed energy resources (DER) such as microgrids.

Dr. Jeff Hardy brings over 20 years of experience in sustainable energy across academia, policy, and business. As Director of Sustainable Energy Futures Ltd., he advises clients on zero-carbon energy transformation, including strategy, consumer impacts, and regulatory frameworks. He is currently advising the Welsh Government on Ynni Cymru, an energy company for Wales, and serves as Deputy Chair of the UK Power Networks Customer Engagement Group and a member of the UKPN DSO Supervisory Board.Previously, Jeff led policy and regulation research on smart local energy systems at Imperial College London and held leadership roles at Ofgem, the IPCC, and Public Power Solutions. He has also contributed to sustainable energy initiatives at BEIS, the UK Energy Research Centre, and the University of York, among others.
